Region information living in Kennemerland

WANT TO LIVE IN KENNEMERLAND?
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR YOUR DREAM HOME IN KENNEMERLAND?

Kennemerland is a region in the province of North Holland, bordered by West Friesland in the north, Waterland and Amstelland in the east, the Bollenstreek in the south and the North Sea in the west. Kennemerland can be subdivided into Noord-Kennemerland, Midden-Kennemerland and Zuid-Kennemerland. The city of Haarlem is, besides being the provincial capital, also the city region for Zuid-Kennemerland.
Zuid-Kennemerland comprises the Bloemendaal municipalities (Aerdenhout, Bennebroek, Bloemendaal, Overveen and Vogelenzang), Haarlem, Heemstede and Zandvoort.
Kennemerland, especially Zuid-Kennemerland and Midden-Kennemerland, are very green regions with lots of forest, dunes, beach and sea. Large nature reserves such as Zuid-Kennemerland National Park and the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes form special areas for flora, fauna and relaxation. The region has seaside resorts such as Zandvoort and Bloemendaal aan Zee, which are particularly attractive to day trippers in the summer.

The Zuid-Kennemerland region in particular offers a peaceful, lovely residential environment, which is characterised by its strategic location in relation to almost everything. All leisure activities are nearby (culture, entertainment, choice of restaurants, shopping area, recreation, sports, vacation (Schiphol Airport), train connections and motorways. It is therefore understandable that more and more people from Amsterdam, who embrace the big city facilities, are turning their gaze to the Zuid-Kennemerland region. Wonderful living in the province, with everything within reach, but not the hustle and bustle of a city like Amsterdam and often a bit more affordable.
